There are many countries in Europe but only 27 countries are in the Schengen zone the United Kingdom and Ireland are not part of the Schengen zone. Schengen is the free zone in which you can travel anywhere in the listed countries if you have a valid visa for any one of the listed countries its include:

Visa Requirements From India For Schengen Zone European Countries
(a) Must hold a valid Indian Passport: The passport must be valid three to six months before the expiration of the passport date.
(b) At least two passport size photographs: Should be recently taken photos. Must be carried more than two photos in case.
(c) Accommodation Proof: Need to show proof that you book accommodation in Hotels or in Hostels or in Airbnb in the cities where you going to visit for the entire period of stay.
(d) Travel Insurance: Must book travel insurance to cover your medical coverage during journey. There are many websites and company which offer cheap travel insurances.
(e) Bank statements: You have to maintain enough amounts in your bank statements to show that have cover all your entire travel expenses. Must carry at least six months old bank statements from the date you applied.
(f) Flight Ticket: Must carry flight itinerary reservation from india to europe.
(g) Cover Letter: In cover letter mention the purpose of your travel visit. For example travel for business purpose, travel for visit etc.
ADDITIONAL VISA REQUIREMENT FOR EMPLOYED PERSONS
For Working Person
(a) Income Tax Return: Submit ITR at least the last two years.
(b) Employment Contract: Submit Employment Contract copy in which mention all the terms and conditions of your employment,
(c) Employer Letter: In this letter must mention that you working with that employer and grants leave for your journey.
(d) Bank Statements And Salary Slips: Organize your bank statements and salary slips from the last six months to the date you applied.
For Self Employed Person
(a) Business License: A copy of business license registration number submit along with the application.
(b) Income Tax Return: From the last two to three years of ITR submitted.
(c) Bank Statements: Submit all the company business bank statements from the last six months.
